I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Disneyland Resort in Oct 2016
Interview
After waiting for my recruiter to come back from lunch i was listening to 2 women behind me listening to their stories and magic on what they have experienced at Disney which showed they did their homework.
I went to shake my recruiters hand but she hesitantly shook it and then she had told me that she was sick and getting over the flu.
She began by saying she will take notes by typing then down so there is no need for me to be nervous or get distracted it was just for her reference later on in the interview. The mood in the room was great i wore a 3 piece suit which showed a lot because I dressed for the job I wanted.
Questions were fairly easy just like a typical interview anywhere else but of course focusing on the customer service aspect.
After answering my questions my recruiter seemed to like me very much that she decided to start talking about grooming guidelines and tattoos. Which I do have and I showed them to her and she still continued to recruit me rather than ending the process.
What got me was that she pulled a 2×2 card to measure my wrist tattoo which was well in the limit of it. Another part was that she noticed I use to wear plugs on my ear lobes and she placed me in front of her window to see if there is sun light coming through which there wasnt.
After those steps she continued to talk about the position I applied for and denied me that position because of the tattoos I had on my wrist but, she had said she can look for other opportunities. She landed me a position for part time in attractions and I couldn't be happier!
