      Entertainment Costuming Interview

      Aug 16, 2017
      Anonymous employee
      Anaheim, CA
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Disneyland Resort (Anaheim, CA) in Jun 2014

      Interview

Applied to the position online. Received an email within minutes asking me to complete their Web-Based Interview, which is basically a personality test to see if you're a good fit for the company. Shortly after passing that, I received another email for an in-person interview at their Casting Center. Fairly typical one-on-one interview: asked about past experiences, why Disney, what my favorite Disney character is and why, etc. I was placed on the waitlist for both Entertainment Costuming and Attractions and told I would be called for whichever one opens first. About 3 weeks later, I was called in for a 2nd Interview for Ent. Costuming. Two of the Department managers took a small group of us on a short tour of some of the venues backstage and explained more about the department, asking us more customer-based questions. They then conducted individual interviews with each of us, asking more questions about our interest in the department, availability, etc. Got the acceptance call later that week.
