I was invited to have a conversation, ironically turned into interrogation. Interviewer showed zero interest learning about my experience and concluded that I don’t have enough experience in SaaS based on his random nit picking questions. At the end, I told interviewer that I am not quite sure if there is an alignment. Surprise surprise - next day interviewer sends me email just to tell that I will not fit which I agree. That said, I genuinely think it’s a good company probably better than other early-mid stage startups in Sydney.
