Here is how I answered: "I have practiced sewing here and there as a child, but most of my sewing skills come from a crafts and ceramics course I took during high school. There, I sewed a pillow along with decorations both by hand and sewing machine. I also taught students how to properly use the sewing machine." Aside from this answer, I also showed my employer the pillow I discussed in my answer.
