Whether I had previous pharmacy tech experience or not. Pharmacists don't usually want to train new techs because it takes time and effort. Having a trainee around can mess up work flow and nobody wants that, especially in a busy pharmacy. The pharmacists won't know if you'll be a good investment or not, its not because they don't understand your situation, its because they're looking into the future from a business standpoint. Pharmacists don't want someone who'll work for a month and then quit.
