      Back End Engineer Interview

      Jan 2, 2019

      Porto, Oporto

      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Doist (Porto, Oporto) in Dec 2018

      Interview

I applied online, directly through their jobs page. First interview round was a 1-hour conversation with the hiring manager, which included some technical questions about SQL, git, and Python. The second round was a take-home exercise with a 10-hour limit. The exercise was directly relevant to the responsibilities of the role I was applying for. Though it was a lengthy assignment, Doist financially compensates applicants for completing it. I did not progress past this stage. However, Doist provided helpful feedback on why my exercise submission didn't pass muster.
