I interviewed with Doist in August 2024. The first step was to fill out a form with questions like why would you want to join them and why do you think you're a good candidate. There are 4 or 5 questions and they’re long but I feel like it’s a great way for both parts to see if there is a cultural fit from the beginning. The second stage was an interview with the Head of Apple. He asked technical questions, as well as behavioral and past experiences. It felt very conversional and pleasant. After that, you could move to the next phase, which is a paid take home assignment. It shows a lot of respect for the candidate for it to be paid. But before starting the assignment they send you a salary range based on your perceived experience. Unfortunately, the range they gave was not very competitive for me, based on previous salaries and considering that I live in San Francisco, so I decided not to move forward. It was a great experience, everyone was kind, knowledgeable and humble. I got the chance to learn a lot about their culture and mission.
