I applied online and was contacted via email by the recruiter. He was very slow in responding to emails throughout the entire process. I had a simple phone screen with him once we finally connected. He wanted to pass me along for a call with the hiring manager. Getting that set up was also mildly painful, but the actual call went well. The call wrapped up with him wanting me to come onsite for an in person interview. Then Dolby went dark. It took many phone calls and emails to the recruiter before I was finally able to connect with him and he finally told me they were in the process with other candidates and not sure who they wanted to bring in. Then I got an offer from another company and tried to get in touch with the recruiter to let him know that Dolby needed to rush things if they still wanted to consider me. The recruiter sounded frazzled when I did get him on the phone and he told me he would call me after his upcoming meeting. He never called and I stopped pursuing it bc of how slow they were moving and how difficult they were to contact. It wasn't worth the effort for me.
