Interview
Long gaps between hearing from recruiter on next steps. I really enjoyed speaking with my interviewers, had great conversations with the team, and can definitely say I had na overall positive experience. Wish the process was a bit more organized and team had better communication surrounding next steps and scheduling.
Dysfunctional interviewing process. People across teams not on the same page. Recruiter lacked communication skills and in some instances had spelling errors in several email communications.
Process dragged out for 4 months. Experience was confusing. In the end glad nothing came if the opportunity I was exploring. Teams and recruiters seems disconnected.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Dolby in Nov 2015
Interview
Had a series of phone call, first with HR then with manager. They were interested in my personality and my previous experiences. Went through my entire resume and also talked about my interests and education at school- including extracurricular activity involvement.
