I applied in-person. I interviewed at Dollar Tree (Bridgeport, CT) in Feb 2017
Interview
Simple be responsible and on time, its super simple just call or go in person its not a top secret hard job they can hire you if willing to work and not be lazy and be a good staff member the process was fairly quick. Its a good job for a highschooler or someone partime to make a lil extra cheddar, not for slow people who cant keep up with a fast paced environment

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Dollar Tree (Tequesta, FL) in Jan 2026
Interview
Went to interview and was nervous about answering questions for the job and depending on how I answer them. That would determine if I get the job or not. But it wasn’t like that at all. The store manager was super friendly and straight forward with everything. Applying was super easy online.
Very simple and easy was hired on the spot. More like a friendly conversation than an interview, was 30min-1hr long. Given tour of store and full run down of responsibilities
