I applied online. I interviewed at Domo (London, England) in May 2025
Interview
Interviewed for a marketing role at Domo and had a mostly positive experience. Everyone I interacted with was kind, thoughtful, and genuinely passionate about the company. The role itself sounded exciting, and the team made a strong impression in terms of culture and vision.
I made it to the final stage, which focused entirely on personality and team fit. I wasn’t selected because there were concerns I might be bored in the role due to my broader skill set. While I appreciated getting feedback, this rationale felt misplaced. I had clearly expressed both interest and motivation throughout the process. If there were concerns about long-term fit, they could’ve been addressed earlier rather than used as a final-stage filter.
Overall, a respectful process with good people, but the decision-making left room for improvement. Rejections based on assumptions, especially after extensive candidate time investment, undermine an otherwise strong interview experience.
