I am writing this review because there are no others and I was shocked and disappointed with Donorbox, as a tenured HR professional, from a candidate's perspective. A GOOD Talent Acquisition department develops good relationships with candidates AND retains them even if you can't make a good job match immediately. I'm tenured in my career and have been around in enough HR jobs to give their staff quite a few pointers. I am actually overqualified for the position I applied for. The way screening was handled tells me everything I need to know about Dropbox, as first impressions stay... and I'm looking for a company that is stellar at the Talent Acquisition process, one that leaves candidates wanting the company as the main target to keep aiming for and...and an employer that is great to their employees as well. Donorbox is NOT that, at least on the TA front. I was turned down for a job I was not only qualified for but overqualified for. I was told while I had transferrable skills (which was *wrong as, I have proven DIRECT skills doing the job in the past, and then some) so they chose to move forward with others with closer direct experience (which is a canned, unhelpful response). They also sited "there was a lack of attention to detail in my answers to the application questions... and" the responses you provided did not demonstrate the level of meticulousness we were looking for." Yet I concisely and accurately answered their simple questions of "What ATS software have you used?" "What are your salary expectations", "What time zone are you in and can you work these hours in EST?" How much more meticulous can you get when directly answer these questions, with straight forward answers? Novices.
