I was in interviews with DoorDash for a total of two months; I made it to the very last stage of the process, I even discussed compensation and start date with the recruiter, I received a great deal of encouragement, only to be left hanging for 5 days and then told that unfortunately they weren't going to make an offer. When I asked for feedback they didn't deign give me any, which felt like a huge inconsideration taking into account the time and effort I put into preparing for the whole process, especially the QBR presentation. At the end, I didn't feel like my time was valued and respected, and I thusly lost respect for the decision makers.
