The process was ok, but I invested a lot of time into it, as thy except you to have several calls and video interviews, the come into the office to present your portfolio to the design team, and then you have to do a fairly time-consuming design exercise (on your own time). After all that, I received a simple, one like rejection email. Like, the 20+ hours I had poured into this process clearly did not matter to them. As a former Design Manager, and a current Design Director, I would never do that to someone at the final stage of the process. But there a ton of design issues in the doordash app, so I suppose it reflects the issues within the company.
