I applied through college or university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Dow (Marlborough, MA) in Oct 2017
Interview
Started with University recruiting. The recruiter was friendly and polite, ask about my research and background. I was invited for an on-site interview about 1 month after the university recruiting event. I interviewed at the Marlborough location, the process was very smooth and streamline. We started with a research seminar with the team and about 8 team member throughout the date. I was told that 5 candidates was invited onsite for 1 position. Each interviewer asked questions about my research seminar. they also described their products/process for me and ask questions on what to do for improvements. A week after the onsite interview, i received the rejection email from HR. I was told that if i was selected, the offer letter would've come in within a few days. But that it's ok, it was a positive interview experience overall.
Interview was ok. Gave 45 min presentation with approx 10 attendees and had personal interviews with approx 5 people. Don't remember much else unfortunately as this was a while ago.
I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Dow
Interview
Long but very useful. Met several stakeholders who gave a good overview of the process. At PhD level, you will have to present your work. Got a tour of the facility
