Interview
I received an interview invitation for the MS program in Cell and Molecular Biology (MCBG) at Drexel University. The entire experience was smooth, informative, and engaging.
The interview began with a brief session where a program coordinator provided an overview of the program structure, coursework, research opportunities, and general expectations. This helped set the context.
Following this, I had two one-on-one sessions with faculty members, each lasting about 30 minutes. These sessions were primarily focused on my previous research experiences. I was asked to describe my research projects in detail—what I worked on, methodologies used, findings, and any challenges I faced. The professors asked insightful, research-related questions that encouraged a deeper discussion. The tone was more conversational than interrogative, which made the interview feel like an academic dialogue rather than a test.
Overall, the interview was a positive experience. It was interactive and intellectually stimulating, with a strong focus on assessing research aptitude and alignment with the program.
