Really poor experience with Dropbox. I've worked in TA for over a decade. I'm still stunned at how unprofessional the entire experience has been.
The process began with scheduling back-and-forth. They initially tried to get me to use a booking link to pick a time to meet, but the link didn't have any time slots available for 2+ weeks, which was fine, but weird. I followed up with the Recruiter about this and eventually they respond with a new time slot a few days later. Not ideal, but fine.
On the day of the call, the Recruiter is MIA. After 10 minutes, I emailed them to see if everything was okay. They responded back that they were running late. Eventually we connect about 15 minutes after the scheduled time. Recruiter was nice enough, but we didn't cover much ground in the conversation. Even though they could go 15 minutes over in a previous call, they needed to end exactly at-time in our call. I got the sense that they weren't really interested in me anyway, which was confusing, but fine. I awaited my rejection email.
Now we're 4 weeks out from that call and I have yet to receive a rejection or update. 2 weeks in, they mentioned that I'd have an update by "end of week at the latest." I've followed up twice since then, and nothing.
I suspect there's something shady happening here. It's one thing to ghost someone. It's another thing to needlessly string them along. Judging by other people's experiences, this seems normal for Dropbox.
