Somewhere between "Lord of the Flies" and "Don't tell mom the babysitters dead"
In other words, these folks are newbs at HR, and basic business skills.
Simple, yet, bizarre vocal questions were asked, obviously a strange attempt to be googlesque, without the wit.
Example:
1.)
Describe a TCP/IP packet
2.)
Insert question that takes 20 minutes to vocalise and 20 seconds on a test, written or digital.
Basically, this company has a bit of momentum, obviously, they are hoping to be acquired, or go public before any kind of real HR can be established. The employees I spoke with seemed uninspired, and insecure, like they're waiting for more VC funding or stock options/acquisition.
Generally, I got a less than stellar vibe from HR, who was less than friendly, and downright unprofessional.
Probably a programmers heaven, if you like Python.
