Interview
The first 2 interviews were 1 hour phone interviews using coderpad.io. This was followed by a series of 3 1 hour interviews done over Hangouts video chat in 1 day.
All the interviewers were engineers from Dropbox and my experience with every interviewer was nothing short of incredible. Every engineer was very friendly and co-operative, answered questions honestly, and remained interested and involved the whole time. The questions asked were almost all real-life in that I could see similar algorithms being implemented in products which is refreshing.
Most of the followup times were consistent, and the recruiter made an effort to keep me in the loop the whole time. The recruiter was super nice as well and was very pleasant to communicate with, both verbally and over email.

I prefer not to disclose the technical questions, but they did ask about my previous work experience/projects and dove into details they were interested in. They also asked what I liked about my school, as well as a bunch of other conversational things.

Process was 2 online assessments, followed by a phone screen and then final. Final was 3 round. 1 coding challenge, a code review and behavioral. Interviewers were friendly and cooperative. Recruiting process was very slow. Took about 2 months to get to final.

Question 1
Even though questions were very difficult, they were a good indication of the work that Dropbox SWE do, which I really appreciated.
I had to complete a hackerrank challenge and it was 90 minutes long. It was the grid illumination challenge and I found it pretty challenging and didnt pass the test cases. However, the process was still very fun and I had a great time.
