      Executive Assistant Interview

      Sep 12, 2025
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Seattle, WA
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Dropbox (Seattle, WA) in Jun 2024

      Interview

Beware of a 2 hour timed take home project followed by a loop interview. Interviewers seemed friendly and didn’t ask any questions out of the ordinary. You get to interview with the executive 1:1.

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Dropbox (San Francisco, CA)

      Interview

I cannot possibly speak highly enough of this company, the employees in HR that I spoke with, and the interview process that I was able to be a part of. After sending in my application, I received an email to set up a Skype interview within less than 48 hours. Once we got to talking, she explained a little more about the role to me, and then the questions started. The interviewer was warm, friendly, and sincere, and I felt like she really listened thoughtfully to all of my answers, and responded to each of my own questions. I received an email about the status of my application within a week, and the interviewer included the exact reason for not moving forward (lack of experience in a particular area- this is something that I find so helpful and actually a very kind thing to do, so if there's something you can improve on you know what it is, and so you don't end up worrying and dwelling on what you may have done wrong!). From what I gleaned in the interview, this is a fantastic company to work for, and they really treat their employees well. I am wishing the HR team the best in their continued search for an office manager!

      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Dropbox (San Francisco, CA)

      Interview

Interview process was quick, but final round lacked structure. Phone screen and phone interview were concise and straightforward. Final round interview at the SF office lasted 4+ hours and no schedule was given in advance. I would have liked to have known who I was meeting with beforehand. Overall, everyone was professional and seemed to love Dropbox.
