I applied to Dudek online through their website. I heard back approx. 3-5 days later asking for me to come in for an interview. The interview process is fairly long. I met with the employee that contacted me about the interview. We interviewed for about 15-20 minutes and then I met with other senior level employees in the Engineering and Water Resources department. I met with about 8 other employees that day for "mini interviews" and finished the interview process sitting down with the office manager. It took about 3 hours to go through all of the meet and greets and interviews. Kind of low key and asked about past experience and what you feel comfortable doing. I felt very comfortable with all of the employees and interviewers, they were all very friendly and welcoming and came across as very bright and intelligent managers. The office culture seemed great, there were dogs walking around the office and everyone seemed very laid back and seemed like a great office environmental and place to work. They accepted my resume and wanted to interview me but they are on a "hiring freeze" not sure how to take that. But did not like the fact that they wanted to interview me but had no intention of hiring me at that point in time, since I am in the process of finding full time work in the area. "We are still at a stand-still as far as staffing. Feel free to check in again in the future." Was the exact line in the email I received.
