A week after I applied to this position I received an email asking me to come into the store for open interviews, as a new location near me will soon be opening and they are hiring now. I don't know why but I wasn't expecting it to be a job fair per se but it actually was according to the sign on the door. A lot of people were there and despite having already applied online I was instructed to fill out a paper one after signing in to be interviewed. There were several people ahead of me so the store was full and it took almost an hour before I was interviewed by an employee. The guy was really nice and welcoming, he led me to a table in the middle of the restaurant, went over my application and then asked me general questions like "What is your availability?" and "Tell me about yourself" and "Why Dunkin Donuts?" He explained the position to me and the hours and asked if I had any questions. Although he talked like I had the job there was no official job offer made. He told me within a week they would start making call backs but of course would not be able to hire everyone who applied and interviewed. Still, it would take some time so if I don't hear back immediately, don't get discouraged. I thanked him and left. This was not too long ago so I'm still waiting and hopeful but just wanted to post that it was an easy, basic interview.
