Recruiter was eight mins late to our call and then rushed through the entire interview to try to finish on time. Didn't bother to share any information about the role, simply asked about my background and then continuously interrupted my responses to ask follow-up questions. Tried to end the call without any discussion of the compensation package. When I asked about this, he simply said that it was included in the job posting and I could look there. The range in the job posting is $158,400—$284,400, which is a huge range and definitely required further explanation. Looking back, it seems like they may have already had other candidates in mind and this person was just going thru the motions and trying to end the interview as quickly as they could.
