I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at E2open (Foster City, CA) in Apr 2013
Interview
Had phone interview with hiring manager first. He originally did not see a fit, but changed his mind after further discussion. He called me in for an interview where I met with SVP HR and NA Sales Manager. Both were good interviews. Met with hiring manager and after 20 minutes he decided I was not a fit (for the same reason as the telephone interview). It was a complete waste of my time! I certainly could NEVER recommend this hiring manager!
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at E2open (Austin, TX) in Apr 2016
Interview
Fairly typical interview process: initial phone screen, assessment test, interview with hiring manager and finally on-site in Austin, TX with a series of interviews with execs and others.
Overall experience was good, except there was a very long delay (3+ weeks) between final interviews and informing me they selected someone else. I suspect they made the decision quickly and had to wait for the preferred candidate to accept their offer before informing me.
Most of the folks I met with were professional and genuine. The company is going through a transition, so there is some uncertainty as they navigate new waters.
