The overall process at the beginning was smooth and quite fast. The first two interview rounds were positive experiences. The interviewers asked clear technical and behavioral questions, and the conversations felt constructive. However, the experience during the third round was disappointing. In the invitation email, it was mentioned that there would be a live coding challenge during the technical interview, and I was specifically asked to set up my environment for TypeScript. Despite this preparation, the coding task during the interview was given in Java instead. Although Java was mentioned in the job description, the prior instruction to prepare a TypeScript environment created confusion and made the situation unexpected. Additionally, the atmosphere in the technical interview felt somewhat disengaged. There were three participants in the session, but one of the engineers introduced himself briefly and then remained mostly silent throughout the interview, which made the interaction feel uncomfortable and less collaborative. Another challenge was that some questions were asked about technologies that were not mentioned in the job description. This made it difficult to understand the exact expectations for the role. Overall, while the initial stages of the process were positive, the technical interview felt unstructured and inconsistent with the information provided earlier. As a result, the experience was not as positive as I had hoped.
