I applied online. I interviewed at EGYM (Munich, Bavaria) in Feb 2023
Interview
I was involved in 3 rounds of interviews and 1 offline coding challenge.
- Half an hour of general knowledge and experience with a technical team member
- An offline homeworld that took 2 hours for me to complete but the deadline was 5-7 days.
- 2-hour interview with two team members included multiple in-depth questions. Included an OOP online code challenge
- 45 minutes cultural-personal interview with HR and the head of the Software Engineering team
- 1-hour discussion about the offer and the other important topics about the role
The overall process took 2-3 weeks and 1 week to hear about my offer. In nutshell, they were swift and super fast in responses thanks to the knowledgeable HR I was in touch with. The Team leads and the Head of the Software Engineering team took the extra mile to elaborate on any questions I asked.
I should add this point for the conclusion that the interview process was not stressful to me since everyone was energic, friendly, and clearly enjoying the hiring process same as me. They didn't ask any non-sense questions either technical or personal. Looking forward to meeting them in person soon.

Interview
Really well organised interview process. Fast-paced(took 1 week) with different people from various departments. Everyone knows company quite well. I liked both personal and topic related questions. Pair programming and other technical interviews were quite well organised and really gave you chance to bring your best into the process.
The interview process took approximately five weeks. Every step felt purposeful, with questions that were completely relevant to the role and its requirements.
Throughout the process, I had the chance to speak with different individuals at each stage, and I was genuinely impressed by how motivated and positive everyone was. Their energy and enthusiasm were truly inspiring, and by the end of each step, I felt even more excited about the possibility of working with such a great team.
The process included a take-home assignment, followed by a technical interview to discuss the project in detail, and a more behavioral interview after that. Each step was conducted professionally, and the expectations for the role were communicated very clearly.
Overall, this was one of the most well-organized and engaging interview experiences I’ve had. The team’s transparency and energy made it easy to see why this company is such a great place to work.
