Interview
I interviewed with the HR recruiter and then with a hiring manager and her manager. All seemed to be going well and promising. The recruiter called back and advised me that the manager thinks I would be great for another job and should wait for a subsequent call. After a few weeks, he called back and informed me that he didn't know what had happened, but they had higher someone else. He told me that they would hire me for this other position, but they decided to go with someone else. I was confused but asked for feedback. He told me the manager was out of the office, but when she returnes, he will let her know. It's been a few months and no word from anyone!
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at EMC Insurance
Interview
Overall a pretty poor experience. Had a phone screening where recruiter honestly seemed like they hated their job and was very disinterested. Despite the fact that they told me they were looking to fill the position quickly, I was ghosted when responding to their follow-ups.
After several weeks of radio silence, was contacted out of the blue for a panel interview. Panel conversation was fine/standard.
Finally received a generic email after 2.5 months that the position is closed.
Overall, the vibes I got were that there is very high turnover with poor employee satisfaction. Recruiting process involved very little transparency and communication, to the point that I likely would have declined the position if offered it.
