The phone call was around 20 minutes. The Recruiter was putting some pressure on me by restricting time for answers. I got a quite negative impression of the Recruiter since at times he was behaving quite arrogant, uninterested und absolutely not engaged. There were absolutely no clarifying questions from his side based on my answers. It felt like he had a list of questions and he was just going through them. During the interview he also didnt want to discuss my first 2-years international experience in HR in one of the world's biggest volunteering organizations. For him this experience was "not so releveant", which i personally found outrageous, since I have been leading the department back than, working on developing learning & intergration HR programs and impacting with it a loooooot more people, that this company has right now. For an innovative start-up this type of thinking is simply unacceptable. And additionaly to that, he didnt want to explain for which experience-level this position is designed for, rather requested me to share my salary expectations. I decided no to continue with the further selection process, as I would have to work directly with the Recruiter from my interview. And his approach and style of managing an applicant isnt aligned with my style.
