I had a couple of rounds with them: One phone interview with an agency, then one phone interview with their recruiter, followed by two personal interviews in their office in Berlin. Overall the interviews were great, although I could feel quite a lot of pressure, and sometimes my questions weren't being answered, which made it difficult to come up with answers or understand the direction the discussion. I sometimes wasn't quite clear what was expected from me, or what they wanted to hear. Often I could only answer questions by giving examples of how I would solve a certain situation in my current job. When I answered a question, they continued to probe into it to understand where I have knowledge gaps.
Overall, the intervieweres were extremely capable, the atmosphere was professional and very friendly with some light moments. They really know about Marketing and their business, and are very demanding when it comes to the profile of the new Head of Marketing. In the end, they decided not to hire me and here comes the only negative feedback: the third-party recruiter from the very first call was the person to tell me this. I would have expected at least the recruiter of EMnify to call me, and was a bit disappointed, especially since I applied for a leadership role and invested significant time during the interviews (the last one took two hours).
Wishing all the future applicants to this role all the best. ;)
