Interview
Interview Process is good but a little long.
Technical interviewers were cool and professionals. For employers, interview feedback helps make the right hiring decisions. It promotes candidate development and enhances the candidate experience. It also makes your company look good! A strong employer brand helps to attract the best talent as your next new hire and inspires existing employees.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at EPAM Systems in Apr 2021
Interview
The technical part of the interview seemed to be absolutely correct. It was a security position. The questions were about how would I investigate incidents, secure servers and mitigate attacks.
The problematic part was the managerial/salary discussion part of the interview. After I declined they called me back with a slightly better offer, I declined again and called me again.
It felt like they were just haggling for the sake of offering something lower than I asked and not because they couldn't give more. The first time they offer like 7% less than I asked and in their third round it was like 2% less. At this point it felt like they just do it for fun, so it was hard to take this negotiation process seriously. Also, during this process they constantly said they couldn't offer more(then they offered more) and that I should feel myself honored that they offered this (they literally said this) and how big of a sacrifice this is from their side.
