Phone Interview with the supervisor of my thesis about my career and my previous professional/academic experiences. After the phone interview I was invited for an interview at EPFL in Lausanne where i got questions about my skills, my last job responsibilities and my career plans and two weeks later I got the proposition for the job.

I didn't go through an interview. I did my master studies at EPFL and was offered a PhD student position by two different professors at the end of my master.

Aimerais-tu faire un doctorat dans mon laboratoire ?
A 50-minute interview was conducted, during which my knowledge was tested. They asked exclusively about the technical design process, and the only other question was my motivation for applying to the PhD program.
