I was asked to give a presentation with subject the research that I conducted during my PhD studies. I further discussed with the group leader about my research interests and about the groups' research agenda so that he could figure out if I would be a good fit for the team.

The questions were mostly targeted on my previous research experience.
Chat with PIs and a current PhD student. It was easy, kind of informal. Very open and friendly. I presented my work that I did in my previous lab. Afterwards some question about the presentation

A whole day visit, presenting my own research and then talking to each member of the group to discuss their research and my own work in more detail. The presentation was fairly formal but the individual conversations with each lab member were quite relaxed.

Submitted CV and was contacted by email. Then was called to the premises to present myself and my previous work in front of the team. It was very pleasant and I had the chance to know the PI and all the research the laboratory was doing.
