I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at ESPN (Bristol, CT) in Apr 2015

      Interview

Overall the ESPN interview process was long and comprised of about 12 different interviewers but not extremely difficult in terms of questioning. The interviewers began by asking questions about technical background and experience and then would dive into technical questions that required written responses. Just about everyone was extremely pleasant and would be hoping for you to succeed.

      Web Developer Interview

      Aug 10, 2009
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Bristol, CT
      Declined offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

The process took 2 days. I interviewed at ESPN (Bristol, CT) in Jul 2008

      Interview

The phone interview was basically about 10 mins describing what my current job entails, then about 30 technical questions about web development. After the phone interview I flew up to Bristol for an interview with about 13 people. about 7 1:1 interviews and 3 paired interviews. Many interviewers had word problems written down that they wanted me to solve. I did not get a break from 8am-5pm. Even during lunch I was sent with 2 interviewers who quizzed me on browser rendering issues. When I asked how they liked the company and the area, I usually got this strange look from the person and said "It is ESPN, what more do you need to know?", which upset me, because I don't care how much ESPN I watch on TV, it seemed like working for them was a glorified sweat shop.

      Interview questions [2]

      Question 1

Most unexpected question. Name the latest MVP for the NBA, NHL, MLB AL, MLB NL, NFL, the Naismith award winner, and the Heisman winner.
      1 Answer

      Question 2

What are the issues with multiple inheritance using c++?
      1 Answer
      11
