Question 1
Why do you want to be a substitute teacher in the District?
No real process. You apply, you go to an onboarding meeting and pay for fingerprinting (which they claim to reimburse but won't actually), and if you don't have anything on your record, you get an offer.
This is based on my own personal experience. There wasn't a formal interview process. The only time I spoke to someone face-to-face was during a video onboarding meeting, which they scheduled via email after my application and background check were completed.
The interview process is done online. All paperwork needs to be uploaded. Once your references are complete and background check you have to wait for an acceptance email. Then you’re good to go.
