EXL Service Senior Software Developer interview questions

Received a call through consultant, face to face interview scheduled on week day and then 2 technical and 1 manager round, I have cleared all rounds then asked HR about the feedback and response was you are already on higher package we will discuss and call you. I don't know why these guys wasted my one day leave saying you are already on higher package.
