I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at EY (Bengaluru) in Feb 2025
Interview
The interview process at Ernst & Young typically involves multiple stages designed to assess both analytical ability and communication skills. It usually begins with a resume screening, followed by an online assessment that may include aptitude and situational judgment tests. Shortlisted candidates then go through one or two interview rounds, often combining technical questions with case-based problem solving to evaluate structured thinking. The final round is typically with a manager or partner, focusing on behavioral questions and overall fit. The process emphasizes clarity of thought, problem-solving approach, and the ability to communicate effectively in a client-facing environment.
The interview was relatively straight forward and focused on my ability to articulate my skills and experiences as in my CV, aligning my expectations with theirs, and answering my questions on the company culture, job scope etc.
The interview process was lengthy. I completed online assessments before a final video interview, and I went in blind, with no idea what questions might come up. I'd recommend preparing example questions beforehand for the digital interview.
