I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at EY (Brussels) in Jan 2025
Interview
Online application, invitation to 2 online tests (around 30 minutes). If all goes well, you will quickly get an invite to Assessment Day. During this Assessment Day, you will join other applicants (including from other departments) to get to know EY. The whole session takes around 3-4 hours. Where you will go through pretty general things to test your personality, communication skills and your identity in a group.. Tests: Pitching, case solving in a group (there are no right or wrong answers, it's more about how you all come together to solve something), writing assessment (one in english, other in dutch/french), for the writing assessment, make sure you are well aware of the topics of current events..
After assessment day; some people might already have HR interview pre-planned. If not, you may return home and will usually receive feedback from your recruiter/HR.
If all goes well the last stage would be an interview with the HR and Manager/Senior Manager/Partner. Received offer on the same day.

Question 1
Why EY, personality, role in group, knowledge of audit & accounting, Gaap vs IFRS,..
Call with HR (technical questions, not behavioural, which caught me off guard but they were easy. 30 min call); audit test (full of typos that made it very difficult to comprehend); call with the line manager from the banking, capital market and insurance area ( 1h. A lot of difficult questions + one exercise about debit and credit). Never understood why I didn't receive an offer even if I replied correctly to all the questions. I tried to ask this to the HR but she never replied.

Financial statements; why the banking area; what can you find in a bank's Balance Sheet
Interview was OK. In the HR interview they asked you some general questions and the interviewer was really friendly, then waited about a week to be invited to a user interview.
