The interview process was relatively lengthy- 20 minutes phone screen interview with HR. {She was very professional and courteous} Another 25 minutes phone interview with the PMO manager, up next face to face interview which took about 2.5 hours. Then I was called back AGAIN for another round of interviews with primarily the senior management and this is where things went LEFT. The role was for a Scrum Master with Agile experience. However, I think there;s a major disconnect between the senior management and the development team because the COO & CTO were more concern about my past PM experience vs the advertised scrum master position. I could tell the senior management are still in the *Command and Control* mindset. Also per my lengthy conversation with the PMO manager it was obvious Ezlynx is no where close to adhering or practicing Scrum. My conversation with the development team went great and they understood the benefit of having a dedicated scrum team. but I dont think the CTO & COO are fully on board with adopting Agile. I received an email 2 days later indicating * I was a very talented candidate, but they went we someone else- No offer* but funny enough they repost the same job 3 days later.
I was actually happy I didn't get the offer, because I walked out of the 2nd interview feeling things will be chaotic for the Scrum Master joining the team-
