      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Seattle, WA
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at EagleView (Seattle, WA) in Apr 2018

      Interview

As other posters have commented, I too was asked to take both a 15 minute 50 question timed cognitive test and an unlimited time personality test. I was then asked to take the cognitive test again, this time while being watched. Then... Crickets for just under two weeks. No response. I escalated and found out that my 20+ years in my chosen profession backed by an Engineering degree and certifications didn't really matter. All these things were less important than passing the all-important (and apparently omniscient) 15 minute cognitive test. (I didn't.) Result? Do not pass go, do not collect $200, end of Interview process. Bye! I'm not sure whether to be insulted because a 15 minute online test outweighs my life's work or to be happy that I "dodged a bullet" by avoiding a company that so obviously doesn't have a clue about how to recruit good talent. (Both???) My capabilities relevant to the job functions were never assessed. I cannot remember being asked a single job-related technical question. What was the point??? I seldom post reviews of anything, but the waste of my time was egregious enough that I thought I should warn others. Unreal.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Cognitive test questions were pattern matching and simple math. Example: Fred sold 600 widgets for $900 in 2015. If he sells 750 widgets in 2016, how much would Fred make in 2016?
