Three weeks for total process. Contacted by an recruitment company for a full time position with Early Warning Services. First a telephonic round for around 30 mins, questions around what I did so far, my experience and experties. Few scenarios based and general stuff. Before my 2nd interview HR from Early Warning contacted me and discuss about my salary requirements and company benifits. The salary I quoted to recruitment company, HR wanted to nagotiate on it, we did some nagotiation and we both agreed on a number, she also shared the company benifits details with me. they scheduled 2nd interview after 1 week, it is gona be a green job video interview they want me prepare with a white board to do some white boarding on video. I arranged that. In second interview, there is a panal of 3 people they asked me all sort of questions from core java, design pattern, web services SOAP/REST, different scenarios, Hadoop, big data related questions, data base, few optimization related. It was a 1hr interview. Just after this interview a managerial round was there. 3 senior managers were there they asked all types of behaviol question, different scenarios, why, when and what it also went for 1hr.
Next day recruter called me and told that Early Warning Services want to give me an offer. I was happy but she also said the offer they are giving is not what I discussed with Early Warning's HR (hiring manager) they reduced the amount by amost 30%!!! She said they have other candidate submitted for less amount so thay want to nagotiate. It looks very unprofessional to me, they hiring manager already discussed the salary with me and now they want me to go down 30%, this is not good. Now so much of communication started between me and recruter and the Early Warning. I was not liking it. I reduced me to 10% more but as I already have offer of that amount I dont want to nagotiate more. Byt in any case it was a clear issue from Early Warning and I dont like this, very unprofessional. Finally I declined the offer!!
