I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Eataly (New York, NY) in Jan 2024
Interview
The interview process was surprisingly basic and felt very unstructured. The questions asked were quite generic and didn’t really go beyond the surface. I didn’t get the sense that the interviewer was genuinely interested in understanding my experience or qualifications.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The questions were very standard, such as:
“Tell me about yourself.”
“Why do you want to work at Eataly?”
“What are your strengths?”
There was little to no follow-up or deeper probing based on my answers.
First round was typical with the hr person to make sure you passed the screen. then the next round you got to meet who you’d be working for which was a good conversation
