Interview
Met with Recruiter for screening call for an HR role. They had no information about the role since they had not had the intake with the manager yet. Was eventually told I would meet with the CIO and an HRBP, not knowing what exactly the role would entail. A half hour in total was scheduled. The call I think went fine, but I didn't have healthcare experience in my previous roles, I never sold that I did, nor was it listed on my resume. I received a call from the Recruiter stating they were moving on with other candidates because I didn't have healthcare experience.
In my opinion, this reflects the poor sourcing process by the recruiter. Don't make someone prep for an interview if they don't meet the required experience.
Additional info provided is that I did not inquire enough about the org and the role, but was scheduled a half hour. If the expectation is to have more of a dialogue then schedule an appropriate amount of time to allow for this type of flow. Lots of red flags from an HR practitioner standpoint.
