I applied online. I interviewed at Ecolab (Naperville, IL) in May 2024
Interview
Preliminary 30-min phone interview with recruiter. I do not have an administrative background so I didn't anticipate getting the job but the recruiter had no interpersonal skills whatsoever. I think an interview should be somewhat conversational and this was not at all. I was asked question after question with no comments in between, just an "ok, next question." When I inquired about salary and the hybrid schedule referred to on the listing (how many days in office, schedule etc.), she had no answers and told me I could I ask management should I make it to the next phase. I even had to prompt her to tell me about what I could expect for the next steps/timeframe.
