Multiple interviews over months. From HR and then through local manager, both virtually and then in person. Then final interview with regional manager. I am honestly hopeful they hired someone who is as capable, if not more, than I am. After having been rejected, I can consciously say, I did the job on the ground, and actually had the tools to do it on my person/truck. This was while I was doing a ride along. Definitely clear on the fact that there was no immediate time for me. Understandably we are all in a tough and overstretched situation. But after investing quite a lot of time for this, all I got was a generic 'sorry but' email. Maybe the interview process needs to have some oversight for the final shot caller. Don't really care about the life story, just care to have some professionalism on the final person. At the very least, just like every thing we do, make sure that a denial has a drop down on why they declined. Don't care, your loss, but wow what a letdown. Best wishes to your company
