I interviewed at Edison Energy
Interview
Was emailed to set up a preliminary phone call that turned out to be a technical interview with just several questions (no personality/fit questions). I talked to the west coast hiring manager (an engineer). Strangely, I was warned at the beginning not to get mad at her as she said other interviewees have. I am not a stranger to technical interviews, having once had seven in a hiring process. During the course of the questions, I was given negative verbal feedback repeatedly and told that I was doing poorly. This is unprofessional, as I was giving my best shot and she was not making any attempt to be kind. I was told I would have "the last chance to redeem myself" and prove myself through the last question, and at that point I knew I definitely wouldn't want to work in such a cut-throat environment. She talked about how she only wants an elite team and not the rest of us, but I would never want to work for her. The interview process left me feeling very disrespected with the discouraging talk towards me. Best of luck to all and I'm sure the company itself is fine elsewhere, but be very weary with her. This was the worst interview I've had, and she's going to lose talent for the company based on her rigidness and extremely poor attitude towards others.

Interview
I applied online and heard back within an hour. My interview was the next morning and consisted of mainly critical thinking and problem solving questions, including questions about building heating, project management, and water pumps.
