Fairly normal for teachers, questions and a mini lesson. Lots of focus on equity and diversity. There’s a big focus on how to reach all learners. The lesson part is about 15-20 minutes in length
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Edmonds School District (Edmonds, WA) in Jul 2013
Interview
I filled out the application online and was contacted for an interview. I had one interview with the principal, vice principal, and department head. I was offered the position about a week later.
I had to present a lesson at my interview. I think everyone was impressed with my thoroughness. I prepared packets for each panel member and explained exactly where in the unit the lesson would fall.
