Interview process is up to 6 weeks. Great process. Recruiter begins by explaining the benefits of working for Edward Jones as an Financial Advisor (FA), which there are MANY. After interest is established, there's lots of paper to prove your background is clean. I showed 10 years of tax returns, but in CA, my earnings were blacked out; there are background checks galore. I then interviewed more intensely with an Edward Jones FA, but only after being assigned an impartial FA working in my area, then an interview was scheduled for a face to face meeting with another FA in the field. Tough questions but fairly standard these days. I then participated in the 3 hour phone assessment. This is the part where you are an FA in the field dealing with customer scenarios, a day in the life of an FA. After this, there is an offer letter, drug test, fingerprinting, and another comprehensive background check. (BTW, those of you in 'pot-legal' states, it's not legal according to Edward Jones, so you have to be perfectly clean)
