It's during the pandemic, so interviews were held virtually. The first round seemed fine and then ghosted for a month - no response from the hiring manager or HR. Then all of a sudden, they wanted to conduct multiple reviews for round two within the next two days. (I know the ghosting means they had another candidate they were more interested in and then they got turned down.) During round two, two of the interviewers are no shows. Their interviews are re-scheduled for the following week, and one is still a no show. It never happens. I maintain contact with HR for about a month and give up. Three months later they reach out again, not with an offer, but a conversation about a potential role that they want to write a requisition for, and they want my feedback. At this point, I have lost interest.
