Unfortunately the prior reviews turned out to be true. There were lots of red flags throughout the process that indicated the company has a rather toxic culture, all of which became more evident in subsequent interviews. The majority of the questions focused on "what" and not "how" or "why" - it seems like they're looking for people to simply execute and do as their told, without really implementing any real thinking. The interviewers were at best stoic, and at worst outright rude. A lot of their questions felt like they were designed to set you up for failure - I understand the need for a "good cop bad cop" approach to see how candidates handle pressure, but this wasn't done professionally. Some interviews started out without any intros, which was just unprofessional.
