I applied in-person. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at Eileen Fisher (Seattle, WA) in Feb 2014
Interview
I visited one of the retail locations in person and talked to the employees there. I subsequently submitted an application and cover letter at three locations; completed an on-line application that went to the corporate HR office, and then followed up with phone calls & thank you notes to each of the people I had either met or written to. I eventually got an interview when there was an opening at one of the stores.
